If your food business exports — or wants to — the APEDA Agriculture & Processed Foods Export Promotion Scheme (Ministry of Commerce) can fund a large share of your export infrastructure, quality systems and market development.
What APEDA offers
Financial assistance of up to 40% of eligible cost, ceiling ₹200 lakh, rising to up to 75% for the North-East, and for women and SC/ST beneficiaries. It spans three components — Infrastructure, Quality and Market Development. Details are on our APEDA scheme page.
The three components
Infrastructure — pack-houses, cold storage, reefer and pre-cooling; Quality — lab equipment, testing, traceability and certification; Market — trade fairs, buyer-seller meets and packaging. Pair APEDA with a food testing lab and irradiation unit for a complete export-ready setup.
Who can apply and how
